Excitement over new dishes to be introduced along with the opening of the brand new restaurant and main building at Camp Figtree.

I have been at Figtree for 2 ½ years and it’s been amazing!
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦?
I was born in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga and have now settled here in Addo, Eastern Cape.
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬?
When I learnt that our restaurant was in ashes, I was devastated! We had survived Covid and now this!! The question that kept ringing in my mind was ‘Do I still have a job?’. I calmed down after our managers convinced us otherwise. We are still busy building as a family to get us up and running again.
𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐮 𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭?
Oh yes. Our old menu was amazing… but I promise to elevate our offering to guests when we open again. Really can’t wait to try new dishes to complement our brand new kitchen and restaurant. I am drooling right now.
